What is wellness?

There are a lot of dimensions to wellness, but for the purpose of this site, we’ll make these assumptions:

  • It’s not black and white, and it’s constantly evolving.
  • It’s holistic and encompasses one’s full being and surroundings – mental, physical, environmental, spiritual and social.
  • Wellness is positive and affirming. It’s interconnected to every facet of your being.
  • It involves making choices. Choices – positive or negative – affect wellness.

 

Wellness involves more than adopting a diet plan or an exercise regimen.

Wellness is a lifestyle.
